Ryviu Reviews

I contacted them twice about the same issue. Waited days. No real answer the whole time. When someone finally got back to me, it felt like a copy-paste response. Didn’t solve anything. Just kind of annoying and frustrating overall.

I really wanted Ryviu to work, but it kept glitching on me. Reviews wouldn’t load properly, and a few settings seemed to just break out of nowhere. The weird thing I remember is one product page showing a blank review box while the rest of the page loaded totally fine, like it just gave up halfway. Frustrating when you’re trying to keep a store running.

I mostly use Ryviu to show photo reviews on my store, it does what I need. Uploading and showing pictures is straightforward, which I appreciate because I don’t have the patience to mess around with complicated settings. The reviews look good on my product pages too. I did have a small issue at first with images loading slowly, which was annoying, but support helped me get it sorted. It’s not perfect, but overall I’m happy with it.

The product itself works fine for me, so I can’t complain too much there. But the support team really drops the ball when you need help. I was left waiting longer than I should have been, and that made the whole experience feel more frustrating than it needed to be.

I reached out to support hoping for a quick fix, but the replies were slow. And when they did get back to me, it didn’t feel like they really helped much. Kind of frustrating.

I really wanted this to work, but it just didn’t look right with my Shopify theme. The reviews were showing up broken, and every time I reached out, support basically said it was a theme problem. After going back and forth, I gave up and removed it. If compatibility and support don’t improve, I’d definitely be looking elsewhere.

I don’t get why this has to be so complicated. I bought something, and now I keep getting emails asking me to leave a review. One or two reminders is fine, but this feels like way too much.

I’ve been using ryviu for a while now and tbh it just does what it’s supposed to. Reviews load fine, no random crashes or weird bugs so far. I don’t have to keep checking on it every day, which is a big plus lol. Reliable app for my shop.

I’ve been using Ryviu mainly for the review moderation stuff, and it’s been helpful. I can approve reviews, hide them, or just manage what shows up before anything goes live, which makes it easier to keep the store looking clean and organized.

I’m giving it 4 stars because a few of the settings weren’t super obvious at first. I had to poke around for a bit, well, maybe more than a bit, before I felt like I knew where everything was. Once I got used to it though, it worked just fine

Rich snippets never showed up for me. SEO felt kind of pointless. And support? Didn’t really help much. Just my experience.

I tried importing my reviews with a CSV and it was pretty much a headache from the start. It kept failing or leaving out fields, and the error messages didn’t really explain what was wrong. I ended up spending way too much time tweaking the file and trying again. Support was slow to respond too, so overall it just wasn’t worth it for me.

I tried using Ryviu on my phone and it felt clunky. Some of the buttons didn’t respond the way I expected, parts of the pages weren’t fitting right, and I kept having to zoom in and out just to move around. It feels less smooth than other tools I’ve used, but…

I’m not totally sure what’s causing it, but the star ratings on my site don’t always display correctly. It looks a bit buggy, and I worry it might confuse customers. I reached out to support, but they didn’t really seem to have much of an answer.

Well... the import worked well and saved me some time.

I had a hard time getting started because the docs didn’t really help me figure out the setup. I kept expecting the next section to explain what I was supposed to do or show a clear example, but it felt like I was just piecing things together on my own. Maybe the information is technically in there somewhere, but it wasn’t explained in a way that made the process easy to follow. For something that should’ve been a straightforward setup, I ended up feeling more confused after reading the documentation than before...

I used Ryviu for reviews on my store. I needed a little help getting started. The guide was easy to follow. I got most of it working fast.
I did have one small issue with the widget display. Support helped point me in the right direction. It was not perfect, but it worked well enough. It also saved me some time.

I’ve been using ryviu for my store in a few different languages, and overall it’s been a good experience. To be fair, most of the text was easy to translate and tweak, which saved me a lot of time. There were a few words here and there that didn’t come out quite right and needed manual fixing, but nothing major. For what it does, I’m happy with it.

Every update feels like it wasn't really Tested enough. Things that used to work fine either break, load way slower, or just feel more confusing than before. I use Ryviu for reviews, but lately I’m spending more time Fixing random issues after updates than actually using the app. It’s Frustrating, and I really hope they slow down on pushing buggy changes

Overall, I’d say it’s a good tool, especially if you already know your way around this kind of software. For me, the setup was a little confusing in a few spots, so it wasn’t totally smooth from the start. Once I got past that, though, it worked fine and did what I needed it to do.

I tried to import my Amazon reviews, but it never actually worked. I gave it a fair shot, but it was frustrating. Polite as I can be about it, this feature just didn’t do what it was supposed to do.
